REPORT ON THE FATTENING AND MATURATION TEST IN THE CULTIVATION OF ALMERÍA TYPE CUCUMBER

Conclusions

The main objective of this trial is to compare three different strategies at the level of fattening and ripening of the Almería-type cucumber. After the results obtained in the different monitoring we can conclude by saying:

- EVOLUTION OF THE LENGTH OF CUCUMBERS

The strategy with the greatest precocity has been the Growmax product from Durban Agroline.

- PESOS.

1. In this section, the Growmax product strategy from Durban Agroline has achieved the best results in the first two sections, which are the number of heavy cucumbers and the percentage of commercial cucumbers.

2. Regarding the average weight per cucumber, the GROWMAX commercial house has surpassed the others IN KILOS.

- ECONOMIC COST.

The strategy with the lowest economic cost is Growmax from Durban Agroline.

- Taking into account the objective of this trial and the results obtained, we can conclude by saying that the most effective strategy at the level of maturation of the Almería type cucumber is the one proposed by Durban Agroline (Growmax) and in the case of fattening the most effective has been that of GROWMAX.
